Happy (late!) March

It's also a reminder of how many wonderful people are wanting to help.

There is so much press on real estate right now, as the market has been so incredibly active. I love and devour it, as I do feel so fortunate to have worked in this industry for so long and love the story behind the transaction. Sometimes, it feels more personal. The original site of Gilda's Club NYC on Houston St. went up for sale for $12.5MM. The organization was started in honor of comedian Gilda Radner's brave battle with ovarian cancer, and has been renamed here in NY to the Red Door Community. The mission is still the same: where no one faces cancer alone. It's personal to me, as it was a haven for me after I lost my mother to ovarian cancer. So if you'd like to buy a place full of memories of comfort and compassion, I'd love to show it to you. If you just want to make a donation, that's cool too.

You can find the link to give here.

So in this real estate craze, there still are things that give me pause to remember how many special things started here in NY. It's also a reminder of how many wonderful people are wanting to help.

Thank you.

Saludos and Namaste,
Emily
